OBJECTIVES: 1. To study the approaches to the community based rehabilitation schemes by NGO’s under the study; and 2. To study the extent of rehabilitation of the persons with disbilities under the Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) approach.
METHODOLOGY: Information would be collected through the case study method.

OBJECTIVES: 1. To assess the role of the NGOs in raising the economic and social status of the tribal societies;2. To examine the role of the NGOs in developing capacities among the tribals to solve their own problems and build up their resources and potential;3. To assess the impact of the central assistance to the NGOs in tribal development in the state of Andhra Pradesh; and4. To suggest suitable measures for institutional capacity building among the NGOs working in the field of tribal development
METHODOLOGY: Primary data were collected from the selected NGOs through questionnaire by adopting research techniques like survey method and case study method. Secondary data were collected from different published and unpublished sources.
