OBJECTIVES: 1. To determine the motivational profile of development functionaries at various levels (district, block and village); and 2. To analyse the relationship if any between their levels, age, gender, education and motivational configuration. 

METHODOLOGY: The primary data was collected through a questionnaire enlisting information on personal and motivational aspects.

OBJECTIVES: 1. To determine the nature and extent of role associated stress as experienced by developmental functionaries;2. To identify measures that would help in effectively coping with the dysfunctional outcomes associated with the phenomenon. 

METHODOLOGY: Information would be collected  through structured and semi structured questionnaire method.
