NIRD has introduced Institutional Membership in the year 1996, with a view to develop and strengthen linkages and promote interaction among the like minded institutions engaged in rural development and allied activities. Institutional Membership is open to all organizations and agencies.

Against the membership, the members get :

• Free Subscription to Journal of Rural Development (Quarterly). NIRD Newsletter (Bi-Monthly).

• Free distribution of unpriced publications of NIRD like occasional papers, special research reports, annual reports, proceedings of seminars/workshops etc. Additionally, 50% discount will be offered on all priced publications of NIRD.

• Free subscription of information products of the Center for Media and Rural Documentation like CMRD INDEX and CMRD ABSTRACTS.

All new members get a free copy of Rural Development Statistics 2000 costing Rs. 280/- (US $10)

Institutional Membership fee is Rs. 1200/- (US $100) per calendar year, to be paid by Demand Draft, drawn in favour of Director General, NIRD, Hyderabad - 500030, India.
